Hello there! I've actually got *3* weeks to share with you. I'm a wee bit behind so I used the Scraptastic Club November This LIfe Noted kit to catch up. What is super exciting is that I still have plenty of cards left over to do another week. (Let's see if I can make myself use the rest of the kit instead of skipping ahead to December, lol!)
Okay, up first, week 42.
I really did love tons of the elements in this kit. They are so fun and playful. Even though I live in southern California where it's almost never fall, this kit worked just fine!
Here's the left side:
Two things. I really love that photo of my 3 boys and that "family makes a house a home" card.
The right side:
This page is kind of all about the embellishments, including those awesome cut a parts and rub-ons. I love it!
Now, onto week 43. Same November kit just with new activities and stories to tell.
Despite the beach photos this layout totally has a autumnal feel to me. I really do like that.
Here's a look at the left side:
And the right side:
Totally crazy content here. The beach, baseball and the pumpkin patch. (One of these things is not like the others.) For me though, it totally works. Mostly because it's absolutely fall in Southern California. (We were completely sweating at the pumpkin patch, I'm not going to lie!)
Now, moving onto week 45. (Week 44 was already completed a few weeks ago) We're solidly into November and I somehow feel good about working on November with this particular kit!
I am so so so in love with the soft cool colors here. That November 4x6 card was the inspiration and I love where it took the page.
As you can see in the photo of the whole layout, I used an arrow clip from my stash to clip a game ticket to the top photo. I took it off for this photo so you could really get a look at what was here. Like in previous weeks, I used some November Scraptastic Free Fallin' stamps just to complete the look.
How are you coming in your album? Are you caught up or are you a few weeks behind? (Or maybe more than just a few!) Keep plugging, you'll get there!
Hello! I have a fun page to share today. Yesterday I was up on the Scraptastic Club blog and I challenged (along with Susan Stringfellow) everyone to scraplift a design team member. I chose to scraplift this page from Leanne Allinson.
Here's the page I created using the Shake It Off kit.
I love the warm colors and how they mimic the beautiful sunset. What a great memory.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my page!
Hey there and happy December! I've got a page + a card to share. I have a lot to share with you -- but I'm going to limit it to a card and a scrapbook layout I created for the Scraptastic Club STORE.
I love all of the Bella Blvd. Tiny Tots collection -- it's so fun for pages.
I wanted to use the feather, to see if I could! I think it turned out really fun - and the feather makes it more whimsical!
Something else fun? The Scraptastic Club DECEMBER kits! I'm so excited about these -- there are so many great things included!
The This Life Noted kit is outstanding! I really love all the colors!
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year:
I'll be back with more -- but thanks for stopping by today! Make it a great day!
Hello, there! I've been having a hard time keeping it about autumn and Thanksgiving when Christmas is knocking hard at the door. The colors, the themes, the images. I couldn't stop myself from creating a couple of Christmas greeting cards.
I love this one. That grey Doodlebug paper is some of my favorite paper. AND, I love love love those Sweet Stamp Shop Holiday Town stamps. And Around Town. It really doesn't stop there. I kind of find myself drawn to them all!
Bright and cheery -- that's what these are! Anyway, that is it for today, just a little bit of holiday cheer before the big Thanksgiving holiday!
Hey, there! I am so happy to be back to share a page with you today. I've actually been creating a lot lately, in addition to preparing my album that will document our holiday season. (I'm using the Scraptastic Club Stocking Stuffer kit and I am so excited about it. I'm actually even more excited since I've been putting together my pages -- there are so many amazing elements. I absolutely adore the cards that are included (There are *75* in the kti!) and I have been oohing and aahing over them as I place them in the page protectors. (I am also one of the instructors for the Stocking Stuffer class at Scraptastic as well, it's going to be so fun!)
Anyway. I created a page with the Scraptastic Shake It Off kit and I was so excited as I was putting all the elements together. This kit is a great one!
I couldn't wait to get this story on a page, I loved the photo of my son and it was taken around the same time as the story. So, it was a natural fit for me!
Thank you for checking out my page -- I'll be back with more to share soon!
Hello, there! I've got something a little different to share with you. I've got an altered treat/gift box which is definitely different for me. I started creating based on an assignment for Create Magazine and I was super excited so I kept going and made another. I also created a couple of cards since I had the cute supplies out and I was feeling it.
Come on -- that's cute, am I right? Bright, colorful and a perfect little box to put a birthday something in!
I really love this Doodlebug Sweet Shoppe collection. The patterns were easy to work with and I loved the vibrant colors.
Happy Birthday! And they kept just creating on their own!
There's another page plus the projects I created for Create. But, I'll save the page for another day!
Make it a great day and enjoy your weekend!
Hello there, friends! I am so excited to share week 44 (Halloween, anyone?) in my PROJECT LIFE album.
I loved all of the Chic Tags fall and halloween exclusives for this particular week. These bits were the perfect embellishments for my festive photos. It even made me step out of my simple comfort zone and dress up my pages a little more. Let me show you.
Here's the left side of my layout:
Hopefully you can see how fun all of these exclusives are -- I know I loved using them for this week!
hello! I thought I had been doing so well posting here on the blog and I now realize it's been three weeks since I've added something new!
Anyway. I have a new page to share using a bunch of the Amy Tangerine Stitched collection from the Scraptastic Store! I am so excited to have all of the latest supplies that are able to ship with my kits. I really loved Amy Tangerine's Plus One collection, but Stitched gives it a run for it's money. I kind of love it!
I used the patterned papers for layering, adding in a few die cuts from Gossamer Blue (love the gold foil!) and the Stitched collection to keep things interesting.
Fun, right? I love the circles + kraft. And, I added the glittery Thickers from the Maggie Holmes (Crate Paper) Open Book collection. I can absolutely see that those were an unexpected addition to a sports page!
That's it -- make it a great day. (And I am going to work harder on getting some more pages up here!)
Hello, there! I'm happy to be back today -- I've got a scrapbook page PLUS a card to share with you. I've used the new collection from Gossamer Blue called Gramercy Road. I really love it -- it's neutral with unexpected bits and pieces - perfect for fall but not a fall collection, if that makes sense. The best part? I got it in the brand new SCRAPTASTIC CLUB STORE. Yes, you read that right. Not only is Scraptastic Club selling awesome kits (yes, they are awesome. GREAT value and fun kits!) but they are also building up to be a full service scrapbook store, too! You will love having items shipped to you quickly and with your kits like I have!
Anyway. Here's the page I created with the Gossamer Blue collection PLUS some Maggie Holmes new line, as well.
Supplies: Patterned Paper (Gossamer Blue Gramercy Road McKinley Field), Die Cuts (Bella Blvd.-Hello Autumn), Brads (Maggie Holmes Open Book), Word Stickers (Maggie Holmes Open Book Gold Glitter Thickers), Cork Stickers (Gossamer Blue Gramercy Road Printed Cork Stickers), Label Sticker (Gossamer Blue Gramercy Road Skinny Labels)
And a card, too. Just because I love making cards. :)
Fun, right? Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon with even more!
