Hello, there friends! I'm super excited to share with you a little bit more fun using the Chic Tags exclusive Christmas Cheer kit!
I knew I needed something awesome, something with flair! I wanted to create a couple of cards for friends and a tag for some baked goods. Nothing more festive and certainly nothing cuter than the Christmas Cheer kit!
First up, a card! Perfect for anyone, really. Very festive, fun and super simple to put together.
Say you need something with a little more pizazz -- something for your mother-in-law or maybe your boss!
Adding tags, acrylic pieces and wood veneer dresses up a card!
Last, but certainly not least for this kit is a tag! I knew that my homemade pumpkin bread I give out every year needed a little bit of decorating. A simple ribbon wasn't going to cut it. The Christmas Cheer kit saves the day!
If you must know, I think that sweet little gingerbread girl steals the show! (I used one of the 3x4 cards from the kit for the background of the tag. Just trim it down and you've got some brilliant patterned paper!)
I hope you can see how easy and fun it can be to dress us your holidays with something handmade! Stop by Chic Tags and check out all of the items, including the Christmas Cheer kit!
Hello there! I've actually got *3* weeks to share with you. I'm a wee bit behind so I used the Scraptastic Club November This LIfe Noted kit to catch up. What is super exciting is that I still have plenty of cards left over to do another week. (Let's see if I can make myself use the rest of the kit instead of skipping ahead to December, lol!)
Okay, up first, week 42.
I really did love tons of the elements in this kit. They are so fun and playful. Even though I live in southern California where it's almost never fall, this kit worked just fine!
Here's the left side:
Two things. I really love that photo of my 3 boys and that "family makes a house a home" card.
The right side:
This page is kind of all about the embellishments, including those awesome cut a parts and rub-ons. I love it!
Now, onto week 43. Same November kit just with new activities and stories to tell.
Despite the beach photos this layout totally has a autumnal feel to me. I really do like that.
Here's a look at the left side:
And the right side:
Totally crazy content here. The beach, baseball and the pumpkin patch. (One of these things is not like the others.) For me though, it totally works. Mostly because it's absolutely fall in Southern California. (We were completely sweating at the pumpkin patch, I'm not going to lie!)
Now, moving onto week 45. (Week 44 was already completed a few weeks ago) We're solidly into November and I somehow feel good about working on November with this particular kit!
I am so so so in love with the soft cool colors here. That November 4x6 card was the inspiration and I love where it took the page.
As you can see in the photo of the whole layout, I used an arrow clip from my stash to clip a game ticket to the top photo. I took it off for this photo so you could really get a look at what was here. Like in previous weeks, I used some November Scraptastic Free Fallin' stamps just to complete the look.
How are you coming in your album? Are you caught up or are you a few weeks behind? (Or maybe more than just a few!) Keep plugging, you'll get there!
Hello! I have a fun page to share today. Yesterday I was up on the Scraptastic Club blog and I challenged (along with Susan Stringfellow) everyone to scraplift a design team member. I chose to scraplift this page from Leanne Allinson.
